Isımsan produces two types of systems: fluid bed dryer and disc-dryer. System types are different from each other in the sense of the basic method.
In fluid bed dryers, the basic method of convection drying is used, in which a flowing gas is transferred to the heat-drying product required for drying. In addition to providing heat input, the gas carries the moisture from the product.
Conversely, disc-dryers utilize the principle of contact drying. Here, the product to be dried is passed over the heated surfaces, which are transferred to the product predominantly by conduction.
